Androscoggin River Fishing Guide

The Androscoggin river is an excellent fishing river it is undeveloped and full of fish. Pre 1990 the and river was very polluted, a river clean up and closing of the mills has aloud the river to now flow clean and clear!

I am fortunate to have been able to watch this development as a fisherman for the past 25 years, I am fortunate to now be able to guide full time on the river I grew up fishing with friends as a child.

I have guided 500+ trips on the Androscoggin river over the past 8 years, as of 2022 I guide almost exclusively on the Androscoggin river and it’s close tributaries for smallmouth bass, northern pike, rainbow trout, and the occasional land locked salmon we can some time catch in a tributary.

Guided float trips in my drift boat are $500 for a 8 hour day 1-2 anglers $50 if you want to bring a 3rd

As of now I am only doing full day trips

You can fly fish or spin fish or both, I will supply all the gear unless you want your own.

I will supply waters and sandwich for lunch

The main target is smallmouth bass we can catch between 20 - 120 fish in a day average size between 12-18” we commonly catch smallmouth bass up to 20” and above

The pike are few and far between but can be hunted if you want! Just let me know

the rainbow trout come in the mix of the bass at random we can target them if you want just let me know.

Trips 7 days a week April 1st - October 31
